<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Offers for Regular Customers</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The best marketing tip for the 4th quarter is targeting your already established customer base with special offers on social media and through email marketing. Moreover, tailor offers with a time limit, which will create a sense of urgency and drive them to take action.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-medium wp-image-924 aligncenter" src="https://www.ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter-01-230x300.png" alt="" width="230" height="300" srcset="https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter-01-230x300.png 230w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter-01-786x1024.png 786w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter-01-768x1001.png 768w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter-01.png 1066w" sizes="(max-width: 230px) 100vw, 230px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Client Appreciation Gifts</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">One way to show your clients and vendors your appreciation is to send them either holiday cards or small gifts. Get cre</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">ative. You can show your gratitude at Thanksgiving, the start of the new year, or for Valentine’s Day. Not all gifts need to be given in December.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">If you’re planning to send out gift items or holiday cards, try to purchase your items as early as possible to have them sent out in time for the holidays. Planning is key!</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-934" src="https://www.ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter2-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="700" height="467" srcset="https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter2-300x200.jpg 300w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter2-768x512.jpg 768w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter2-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter2-2048x1365.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>Website Audit</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Do a quick run through of your website, and check to see if all of your links are working properly.</li>
<li>Remove the sales and promotions if you’re no longer running the campaigns.</li>
<li>Clean up any irrelevant comments from the comments section of your blog, remember to remove the spam-like comments.</li>
<li>Delete any services that you’re no longer offering.</li>
</ul>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-935" src="https://www.ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter3-300x141.jpg" alt="" width="700" height="329" srcset="https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter3-300x141.jpg 300w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter3-1024x481.jpg 1024w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter3-768x361.jpg 768w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter3.jpg 1378w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>Take Advantage of the Holiday Season</strong></p>
<p>The holidays round out the fourth quarter and for many companies, this is where the most money is made. For small businesses, take this time to highlight what makes small businesses better for holiday shopping. Providing customers with great deals or promotions should start Thanksgiving weekend. Think “Black Friday&#8221; Specials, Shop Small Saturday, and Cyber Monday. The key is to plan ahead &amp; promote.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-936" src="https://www.ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter5-1024x683.jpg" alt="" width="700" height="467" srcset="https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter5-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter5-300x200.jpg 300w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter5-768x512.jpg 768w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter5-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter5-2048x1365.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p><strong>Do Some Special Math</strong></p>
<p>Before you start planning your marketing and advertising for the 4th Quarter, take out your calculator. Start analyzing your advertising, sales and profit during the last fourth quarters of a few previous years. Figure out what worked and what didn’t, what did you sell the most of and when did you sell it. Look at your sales ending last years Q3, and analyze if it makes sense to push specials for your current Fourth Quarter.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-937" src="https://www.ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter6-1024x683.jpg" alt="" width="700" height="467" srcset="https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter6-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter6-300x200.jpg 300w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter6-768x512.jpg 768w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter6-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://ginajohnson.co/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Crush-Your-4th-Quarter6-2048x1365.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>

But what does summertime mean for your business? Some small businesses find that summer brings a seasonal lull in sales and general business activity. Others find that the warm weather causes business to heat up. How do you take control of what will happen in your business?</p>
<p>The bottom line is warmer weather puts everyone in a relaxed, laid back mood, myself included. I work half days on Wednesdays and Fridays all summer long so I can head to the beach and enjoy. That being said, my beach time isn’t slowing down my business efforts. In fact, I’m heating things up in my business this summer!</p>
<p>When it comes to your business’s marketing strategy, the last thing you should be doing is relaxing your approach. If you’re attracting fewer customers and have extra time, use the time to update your marketing strategy, website content and SEO to put yourself in a strong position for the fall. Try the following tactics for the next 3 months:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Create a special offer</strong></li>
</ul>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;">Just because sales can slowdown during summer that doesn’t mean you can’t add a little boost to your revenue. Create a special offer or a summer discount on some of your most popular products or services and promote it on social media and to your email list.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Learn a new skill</strong></li>
</ul>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;">As sales slowdown, take the summer months as an opportunity to learn a new skill that will help you further your business growth. Learn a new social media platform, take some design training on Canva, get really good at creating video content or take on online course to learn something new.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Have a giveaway</strong></li>
</ul>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;">This one sounds like a run-of-the-mill marketing technique, but the reason why it’s so popular is because it works. Giveaways and contests are a great way to get people excited and involved, all while interacting with you. If you can work a summer theme into a giveaway, that’s a perfect way to capitalize on the season! Giving away some of your products or services is a great way for potential new clients and customers to sample your what you have to offer.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Step up your networking and business events.</strong></li>
</ul>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;">With many of the COVID 19 restrictions being lifted, this is a great time to get back meeting people face to face. This is something you should do whether business is booming this summer or whether you’re subject to a seasonal lull. If you can’t find any in person events in your area, put one together yourself. Invite people who you want to connect and network with. Think of a central location to make it accessible for most people. This is a great time to reach out to your network and plan something fun.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Build on your summer momentum for the rest of the year.</strong></li>
</ul>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;">Don’t let the momentum of summer marketing campaigns fade away in fall and winter. If you’ve been diligently adding new names to your customer database, continue reaching out with newsletters, special offers, promotional discounts and other activities so your small business stays fixed in the mind of your target audience year round. This will help you stay on their minds when it’s time to make a purchase.</p>
